I've been involved in a cappella for over 14 years now. I started singing contemporary a cappella back in high school and went on to finish forming and direct the all-male Ursinus College Bearitones from 2005-2009. I'm currently a Contemporary A Cappella Society member, Contemporary A Cappella League music director, and an instructor for multiple CASA-sponsored festivals. My other past a cappella ventures include being an A Cappella Bootcamp graduate (2011), Soup 2 Nuts alumni (2014), and a Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards Judge and Nominator.
I've designed the services that ACappellaPsych offers to make your life easier on a more affordable budget. The title of music director or business manager in any a cappella group (professional and non-professional alike) these days is extremely time and energy consuming. I want to help your group exceed your potential without breaking the bank! My goal is to help you achieve yours!
On our site you'll find our ACappellaPsych Blog, where I share my perspective of a cappella from a psychological view. No, I'm not talking about laying on a big leather couch and talking through your jins and jodos. I specialize in sound preparation. That's basically my fancy way of saying that I excel at helping groups and reach their musical potential through both musicianship and mental preparedness. But this blog is much more than that! Here you'll find articles on arranging, stage presence, warm-ups, and yes - sound preparation.
